On July 1, Liu Zhonghao and Yang Yuhai, the party members the 17thChinese Medical Team Assisting Seychelles from the Second Hospital of Shandong University, gathered with other party members from the Chinese embassy in Seychelles, Chinese companies based in Seychelles, the Confucius Institute of Seychelles University and the Chinese Medical Team Assisting Seychelles(local time in Seychelles)to celebrate the 98th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, and held the "singing the old songs in a new era" activity. The event was organized by Chinese Embassy in Seychelles and presided over by Guo Zhenguang, Political Counselor of Chinese Embassy in Seychelles.

Ambassador Guo Wei delivered a speech, encouraging all party members to earnestly study, understand and implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speech, stay true to the original aspiration and keep the mission firmly in mind. Around the theme of "Ode to the Motherland and the Party", all the party members celebrated the anniversary in the form of solo, duet and chorus. During the activity, party members from Chinese Medical Team Assisting Seychelles and the Confucius Institute sang a song "My Motherland and I", expressing their aspirations of "I am proud of my motherland and the motherland is proud of me".

The celebration was held in a joyful atmosphere and ended in the chorus of "Unforgettable night" by all the party members after over two hours.
