Recently, the Second Hospital of Shandong University received a letter of thanks from the Beitun Hospital of the 10th Division of Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps. In the letter, they expressed gratitude to the hospital for its strong support for the work of the Beitun Hospital, especially to Wang Juan, the Deputy Chief Physician of the Cardiovascular Medicine Department for her efforts.

On December 25, 2018, Wang Juan, as a member of the 19th doctoral service team sent by the Organization Department of the CPC Central Committee and the Communist Youth League Central Committee, flew 3,500 kilometers from Jinan to Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, with the task entrusted by the country, the orders of the leaders of the Second Hospital of Shandong University, and the expectations of her colleagues and relatives. For the first time in her life, she set foot on the northwest border of the motherland - Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. Since then, she has been closely connected with the medical and health undertakings of the 10thDivision of the Corps.

The year of 2019was the key year for the Beitun Hospital to consolidate the progress in building a tertiary hospital. As the Deputy Director of the Health Bureau of the 10th Division of Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, and the Vice President of Beitun Hospital, Wang Juan had been carrying out teaching and mentoring with full enthusiasm, fine style of work, exquisite professional techniques and profound knowledge, and providing comprehensive guidance and support on hospital management and specific businesses of clinical departments. At the same time, she also paid attention to the cultivation of the thinking method and practical ability of young medical staff, while playing her role in demonstration and teaching. She took clinical guidance and the training of young medical staff as the focus of her aid work in Xinjiang, and well interpreted the spirit of "teaching, helping and mentoring", making great contributions to the consolidation of the achievements in building Beitun Hospital into a tertiary one. During aiding Xinjiang, Wang Juan gave up weekends and holidays and visited the grassroots for bringing warmth into schools, communities, companies of the Corps and the pastures. She left her footprints on every corner of the Altay area, safeguarding the health of people of all ethnic groups.

A chance of aiding Xinjiang brings a lifelong bonding with Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps. The medical aid work in Xinjiang will be a lifetime precious wealth for Wang Juan, since it has witnessed her growth. May the friendship between the two hospitals last forever!
