The nuclear medicine discipline now provides advanced technical support for patient diagnosis and treatment and hospital development with a new look.
Nuclear medicine is a frontier clinical discipline that uses open radionuclides to diagnose and treat diseases. It, and the Nuclear Medicine Department is composed of professionals with experience in medical imaging and clinical medicine diagnosis and treatment, which can be reckoned as. It is one of the important signs of hospital modernization. The Nuclear Medicine Department is equipped with GE Discovery NM670 Pro SPECT/CT, anultra-premuimn nuclear medicine device, and oneSIEMENS dual-probe ECT, a largeand advanced imported device, which can perform functional imaging examination of different organs throughout the body, with particularly wide application in the whole body bone imaging, renal dynamic imaging, thyroid imaging, parathyroid imaging, cerebral blood perfusion imaging, hepatobiliary dynamic imaging and myocardial blood perfusion imaging. Since 1959, the Nuclear Medicine Department took the lead in the treatment of hyperthyroidism with 131I in Shandong Province, and has treated more than 20,000 people with hyperthyroidism. It has used 131I to treat nearly 10,000 patients with postoperative metastasis of thyroid cancer, which has a wide-ranging impact in Shandong Province. At the same time, it has carried out 153Sm-EDTMP and 89Sr treatment of bone metastases since 1993. In recent years, this discipline has highlighted the research and diagnosis and treatment directions characterized by nuclide diagnosis of tumors, as well as nuclide treatments of various diseases.
